A Mob of Meerkats

It's been quite a while since I left the comfort of my own little patch of Norfolk and travelled further afield. I have recently returned from a holiday to South Africa, a country of contrast, stunning coastlines, arid scrublands and orchids full of wonderful produce.
The photographic highlight for me wasn't one of the famous, big five but being able to spend two consecutive sunrises with a family of meerkats.
The collective name for Meerkats, is a mob or a gang. With 19 members of one family group, including 5 tiny babies, it was certainly a mob gathering.
At times I really didn't know where to point the camera first as there were so many different little personalities to watch. Below are my favourite images that I have looked at to date..there maybe more to come.
