Little, Little Owls

At least the local Little Owl population seems to be doing well at the moment. With two nesting sites at the farm it's being interesting to watch for the first sign of any young owls making their presence known.
Not expecting to see very much I stuck my head around the corner of the cart shed just as a little, Little Owl flew past me and landed on one of the roof beams.
It's hard to say who was more surprised to see the other or if my eyes were as wide as the owls?
