It's that time of year when the red and fallow deer rut kicks off and the testosterone heat was beginning to rise at Holkham Country Park this week.

Whilst the bigger compatriots bang their heavy, antlered heads together less dominant opportunistic stags gently round up their harems on the edge of the woods.
