Summer Songsters

We probably would all agree that the summer has yet to really start but the lack of warm weather hasn't stopped the summer songsters from finding a perch to sing from.
Skylarks now seem to sing all year round but I always rejoice when I hear the linnets distinctive tunes strike up.The whitethroats are not as melodic but I love the perky personality they always demonstrate as they croak out a call.
