Sweet treats

It's not easy finding young hares wanting to pose for a photograph at the best of times but trying to find them in a field of sugar beet adds an extra challenge.

Despite their long ears they hide them well behind the sugar beet leaves and cleverly creep between the rows to avoid detection.

I know they are there watching me, watching them, it's just a waiting game to see who can hold out the longest before breaking cover.
